What does it take to design elite connected products and plan a successful crowdfunding campaign? Join us to learn from one of the top London design studios and the world’s biggest crowdfunding platform for a night of great insights.. and of course free pizza and beers!

7:20-7:40 – Kickstarter talk “Insights from over 7.000 successful Design and Technology campaigns”
Julio will dispel some assumptions around funding campaigns, and then he’ll lay out a framework to help creators develop projects that support their long-term objectives.

7:40-8:00 – Map talk: “How to design driven by user experience” Drawing from their experience of working on successful connected products such as Kano computer kit and Sam Labs IoT blocks, Map will share a couple of their main learnings:

1. How to set up a design development process to be quick to market.
2. How to make sure the design is driven by user experience, not technology.

8:00-8:20 -  Community announcements
This is your time if you would like to share what you are working on with the community or make any sort of announcement. You have 2 minutes max for a short shoutout.

8:20-10:00 – Drinks, pizza and networking
