IoT at Scale – A RedMonk Event

16 October 2014 12:00

3410 Hillview Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA

In this event, RedMonk will bring its unique perspective, developer-led approach and craft experiences to d-code, creating a space for coders to learn, and make their influence felt as we build out the next frontier in effective IoT- the Internet of Things.

Cloud, Big Data and the Open API revolution are all driving process improvement at scale in logistics, retail, and operational maintenance. Meanwhile consumers and citizens are themselves becoming sensors in this new network. The event will celebrate both Maker culture and industrial design, web and mobile, top-down and bottom-up. From agile to big data to machine to machine comms, developers are currently building the future we’ve been talking about for decades.

We will bring hackers and business process practitioners together, fostering cross-sector collaboration. Different communities will come together to learn, share lessons and code. Expect attendees from retail, energy and automotive companies, web firms and major tech vendors. Cloud, Big Data and the Open API revolution are all driving the Internet of Things.

Confirmed speakers include RedMonk analysts James Governor and Donnie Berkholz, Apigee VP of Strategy Sam Ramji, 2lemetry CMO Kirk Crenshaw, Libelium VP of Business Development Javier Martinez, and Litmus Automation CEO and Founder Vatsal Shah.
