Facebook Developer Garage returns to Cape Town for #AppsWorld and #SMWF Africa
The Facebook Developer Garage is returning to Cape Town as part of the Apps World and SMWF Africa developer workshops, providing hands-on, practical advice for grass-roots developers looking to get into the fast-moving and lucrative world of Facebook development.
On Thursday 2 June, day two of Apps World and SMWF Arica, Joey da Silva and Arnand du Plessis, founders of the Facebook Developer Garages in Cape Town and Johannesburg, will be leading two hours of expert discussion around developing for the Facebook platform.
This is a free-to-attend, two hour workshop for the local developer community, with advice and insight into how the platform is evolving; providing an arena for developers to get stuck in, explore the platform, collaborate and test out ideas under the supervision of experts.
The Facebook Developer Garage forms part of a series of in-depth app developer workshops taking place on 1-2 June at Cape Town Convention Centre. Developers can attend this free workshop track, featuring sessions on Nokia, Android, iOS, Facebook and more.
The shows will also feature a bustling industry exhibition, or for those with a wider interest in Apps & Social Media, paid to attend workshop sessions are available to book from the Apps World and SMWF Africa 2011 websites.
